Reflecting on Perseverance from Sarina
We all face hurdles and challenges, even failures in our personal and professional lives. In her latest blog, hear Masala Bhangra Creator, Sarina Jain, express problems she’s faced in her 17-year journey building Masala Bhangra. She offers her thoughts on perseverance here.
Summer Training Tips From Sarina
1) Stay hydrated. This does not change from summer to summer. In fact, it should be a year round rule. Always stay hydrated with water as it is the best drink to have.
2) Don't forget your sunscreen! They say that you should get only 15 mins of sun exposure. Any more than that is harmful to the skin. Always keep your face and body covered with some sort of a screen and/or sunblock. You don't want to damage your skin at an early again. Better to take some prevention, before it creeps up on you!
3) Try something new this summer. If you have been doing the same thing over and over again, and it's working, then why fix it..right? Well, maybe adding a small amount of something new to your lifestyle might be the key ingredient that you have been seeking. It could be as simple as increasing your weights by going to the next level. If you have been using 5 lbs for everything, then increase it to 7lbs. See what difference this small change can make!
